The nose on this seasonally released unpasteurized sake is a fresh collection of grapefruit, mango, peach, cantaloupe, orange blossom, and creamsicle aromas. Say hello to Chiba sake that is crisp, light, slightly spritzy, lively, medium-bodied, silky, and very fresh. Look for sweet rice, mochi, rock sugar, crème brûlée, coconut flakes, lemon/lime, and rice candy flavors that slide along the palate with a crisp and uplifting finish.
